I liked certain aspects of it. There were parts that made me laugh out loud and parts that made me smirk. I loved the mystery of Dex and his unusual personality. He is not the "typical" H where he is perfect and alpha and is there to offer protection for the h. He shows fear, confusion and he can be vulnerable. There are layers to him and I am interested in getting to know more. This was not a scary book for me and there were parts that were slow but I liked it enough that I will continue. My decision has a lot to do with friends assuring me that the series gets better as it continues. 3 stars.
