I don't read blurbs preferring to have a story unfold without preconceived ideas. Soooo, I started this before knowing that it was a serial book and once I realized that it was I was already ensnared in the plot and unable to stop. The story starts off quickly but doesn't feel rushed. I was absolutely captivated by the story. Very well written.
