The Bronze Horseman (The Bronze Horseman, #1) - Paullina Simons I loved Alexander in this book and, honestly, I didn't expect that the book would encompass so much of the romance between the H and h. I also wasn't expecting that Alexander would be so alpha and possessive.

The author did a good job fleshing out the characters, main and secondary. It wasn't a boring read, although it could drag, but my problem was that I never felt an urgency to get back to it.

The book is depressing, with so many deaths, but I am glad that the author didn't try to manipulate readers during those times by making it as tear jerky as possible.
